Why We Started EduHub

Schools and universities often face challenges with sourcing reliable suppliers, comparing prices, and managing procurement efficiently. Principals and governing bodies spend too much time chasing quotes instead of focusing on their core mission: education.

At the same time, many excellent suppliers struggle to connect with the institutions that need them most. We started EduHub to solve both problems — giving schools easy access to trusted suppliers, while helping suppliers grow their businesses in the education sector.

  • To register your school, click on the 'Register School' button on our homepage. You'll need to provide your school's registration details, contact information, and verification documents. Our team will review your application within 2-3 business days.

  • Yes, all suppliers undergo a rigorous verification process. We check their business registration, tax compliance, quality certifications, and customer references before approving them on our platform.

  • EduHub offers a wide range of educational products including textbooks, stationery, laboratory equipment, sports equipment, furniture, technology solutions, uniforms, and specialized learning resources for all grade levels.

  • Suppliers set their own competitive prices on EduHub. Schools can compare prices from multiple suppliers and often benefit from bulk discounts and special educational pricing. We also facilitate quote requests for large orders.

  • EduHub supports various payment methods including bank transfers, purchase orders, credit facilities, and secure online payments. Payment terms can be negotiated directly with suppliers based on your school's needs.

  • Delivery times vary by supplier and location. Most suppliers offer delivery within 3-7 business days for standard items. Specialized equipment may take longer. Each product listing shows estimated delivery times.

  • Yes, once your order is confirmed, you'll receive tracking information via email and SMS. You can also log into your EduHub account to monitor order status and delivery progress in real-time..

  • EduHub connects your business with schools and universities across Southern Africa. You create a profile, upload your products or services, and schools can browse, request quotes, and place orders directly through the platform.

  • Suppliers pay a monthly subscription of R300 to remain active on the platform. This fee covers listing, marketing, and access to schools across multiple cities. No hidden commissions are added unless otherwise agreed.

  • No. Our subscription runs on a month-to-month basis. You can cancel anytime if you no longer wish to participate.

  • We require a valid business registration certificate and proof of bank account. Optional documents like B-BBEE certificates and VAT certificates can strengthen your profile but are not compulsory.

  • Schools pay you directly for products and services. EduHub does not hold or delay your funds. Your monthly subscription fee is billed separately through PayFast/EFT.

  • Yes. You can list your services for specific cities or regions only, so you receive relevant leads from schools in your target area.

  • Your profile appears in city-specific supplier directories, category filters (e.g., stationery, IT support, cleaning services), and featured supplier sections. EduHub also promotes suppliers through newsletters and targeted outreach.

  • We offer onboarding guidance, featured supplier opportunities, and customer support via email. As the platform grows, suppliers will also benefit from analytics on how schools interact with their listings.
